The Hummingbird Hero Right Here at OOP!

There was alot of activity at OOP! in South County on Saturday night!! With the doors open, a wandering hummingbird flew into our store and continued to propel its wings around the store for over an hour. He was losing energy and steam after doing hundreds of laps close to the ceiling. Our concerned staff and customers tried everything possible to help him escape. One gentleman named Neil Rogol came to the rescue!!! He grabbed one of our OOP! childrens Fishing/Butterfly Nets, climbed up the ladder and after many attempts finally rescued our worn out little creature.. Thanks and Hats off to Neil!!!! He is holding the Fishing/Butterfly Net which comes in several different colors!!!!!

Summer events in Providence

SoundSession is a music festival that spans several stages, city streets and multiple genres. The festival, produced by the Providence Black Repertory Company in collaboration with the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture & Tourism, selects acts that "excite, educate, surprise and inspire a crowd." Sounds good.

July 19th Indie Arts fest is going to be hot! Experience the Westminister Sidewalk sale, RI Film Fest Films and Waterfire all on the same day.

That's right, the merchants on Westminster St. are teaming up with the Arts and Business Council to add yet another activity to the Indie Art Festival's list. Just a block away from Kennedy Plaza on Westminster St. from 12:00pm to 8:00pm
you'll find great deals from some of your favorite shops. The sidewalks will fill with stylish bargains. Pick up those items you've been drooling over at a discounted prices.
We'll also be hosting a number of musicians from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, varying from acoustic sets to DJ's on Grant's Block at the corner of Union St. and Westminster St. We are excited to share our space with these local artists.
Then, as dusk rolls in, the outdoor movie screen will come to life, projecting shorts from independent film makers from 8:30pm until 12:00am. Grab a seat, or bring your own, and be sure to check out some of these flicks.
Tazza Caffe will be providing food and drinks at Grant's Block on the corner of Westminster St. and Union St.

OOP! we dont practice

Westminster has so much going on. Open Market, Movies every Thursday and Waterfire right down the street to name a few.

Now, here comes Bocce! OOP! was red. It looked good from here but we had met our match.

The OOP! teams first game was inspired to say the least. We had fun even though we came up on the short end of the stick against ENO.
