Annan, my five year old is the sweetest boy I know. It is not my style to go on and on raving about my kids but he really is sweet. So when something goes off course with him it really throws me for a loop.
Yesterday he broke his leg. "No good comes from a Trampoline!" This should be a new Mantra for parents. In a days time I have heard a story about a trampoline accident from every concerned family member and friend that has called. Cut lip, gash to the face, black eye, broken leg (twice), and numerous broken limbs yah te dah te dah.
This is Annans third trip to the emegency room in his 5 years on the planet. He is highly allergic to bees and he has been admitted twice for bee stings. So although we were spared an emergency room visit last year we always anticipate a visit to Hasbro Childrens Hospital in Providence any time. The care there is amazing! It is a very special group of Doctors, Nurses and staff that work at Hasbro.
Annan is doing fine. Today I was Annans legs at our Easter Egg hunt. He pointed to the eggs and I ran for him. It was alot of fun. It should be an interesting 6 to 8 weeks. How will a 5 year old do, what will a 5 year old do with his left leg in a cast from his toes to his hip? i'll keep you posted.
cheers, David
