I have always been so impressed with the family that Sarah Grant has created at Sticks, as well as the community out reach from Sticks, and of course the incredible projects that they take on and the art they create. The work gets better and better every day which is amazing to see. We have sold Sticks since about 1993 and I can honestly say from each new item they create, every candlestick and 8x10 mirror to every dinning set or massive installation......The work is always changing, growing and more inspiring than the last one.

"My art work is my writing; I translate the ideal image conceived in my mind's eye and to a touchable form. I start out with a basic sketch of the pose or figure that I want to paint, but the designs, colors, and even techniques come during the painting process. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to create a piece of art that someone else can enjoy." - Hasan
Sticks has worked with ChildServe of Iowa on a previous installation for their facility. Recently, Sticks updated this initial installation. The front entryway installation showcases all donors and donor levels. This installation was updated to reflect and honor new and continuous donors of ChildServe of Iowa.

Additionally, Sticks created a four-panel plaque, The Legacy Wall, which honors those donors who have made contributions to ChildServe. Their names are engraved into the panel among a beautiful Sticks landscape. "It provides a wonderful opportunity for us to honor and recognize people that want to see ChildServe's mission grow into the future," said Lloyd Vander Kwaak, CEO of ChildServe

Honoring the spirit of a child through art was the number one goal of Sticks with this installation, and it was extremely rewarding. Celebrating those that give to such an important organization is what we strive for. We are thrilled with the end result, and honored to have the chance to work with such an amazing organization.
